In the case of sugar grove, the building had not been painted in 15 years. Meaning the coating was extremely worn down and was, “chalking”. This means that the coating had completely deteriorated. Because of the condition of the buildings exterior this increased the cost of repainting the building and caused some damage to the concrete substrate. We water blasted all of the old coating off and then repaired damaged expansion joints and patched all damaged concrete. Finally we applied a premium coating, Loxon XP to all surfaces. This customer also received the Allied 7 Year Warranty.
