Folds of Honor is a fundraising even that is very close to the Allied Painting Contractors family. The cause is a great one, “to stand in the financial gap of the more than one million dependents adversely affected by war, providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of those killed or disabled while serving our nation.” (we have linked the website to the statement above). This year we had the honor of holding a pig roast to help raise money for the foundation. In the end we had raised a total of 19,000 something that we could have never aspired to raise, but thanks to all of the people who came out we hit that amazing number.
We are a company that loves to be involved with our community, so being able to hold an event like this plus raise money for those who are in need truly seems like a perfect calling for us. Keep your eyes peeled for our events next year! A big thank you also to Sherwin Williams who donated all of the product so that we were able to paint a house for someone in need. Just because it isn’t a holiday does not mean we have to forget all the sacrifices that have been made for this country, and sometimes a pig roast can help us remember that!
